We have completed an unusual and prestigious project involving the construction of stainless steel frames and breakwaters (partitions) made of acrylic panels – a total of 2 sets of structures.
The investment was made on board Icon of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world.
Acrylic panels were made in an impressive size:
length: 3800 mm, height: 1000 mm.
An additional technological challenge was cutting the material at an angle, due to the sloping pool floor. This required precise machining and a perfect fit of the elements to the steel structure.
The frames and panels were manufactured in Poland by H2O Projects. Our team then traveled to Finland, where we carried out professional assembly on the vessel at the Meyer Turku shipyard.
